Maker Criteria
stallholder information

what do you get for your money as a stallholder?

1. Carefully curated artisan markets providing a platform for small batch independent makers, designers and producers

2. Fully licenced events - Wylde Thistle holds Market Operators Licences for all venues, something which is required by law in order to trade

3. Fully insured events with Public Liability Insurance covering makers, visitors and goods along with cancellation coverage in case of unforeseen circumstances

4. Paid for targeted social media advertising for individual events, paid for printed advertising in local publications and large format outdoor banners with planning permission. We also post regularly on our social media accounts where we promote and share markets and makers exhibiting with us. We also highlight makers with Meet The Maker posts

5. We have a website - you're on it!

Our website is constantly updated with event information and a maker directory. We add makers to the directory free of charge and include links to their websites, online stores or social media

6. Exclusive partnerships with quality coastal venues located in destination towns easily accessible by car, train, bus or ferry

7. Dedicated, responsible and professional organisers (Wylde Thistle is Alice and Clair) who offer friendly support and are in full attendance at every event

8. Stall Fees: Our stall fees are reflective of all of the above information.

At each market, makers are provided with a 5x2ft or 6x2ft sized table (selection to be made on the application forms), chairs, wifi and a discounted lunch menu (Marine Troon).  The price for a stall at both Marine Troon and Helensburgh is £50 for a 5x2ft and £55 for 6x2ft with additional space charged at £15 extra
